About the role

 

The EMEA Sales Engineering Manager is a quota carrying, team oriented and experienced senior tech professional focused on directly driving the integration and onboarding of our new merchants onto our platforms and leading pre sales activities as well as managing a 6 people team locates in Poland, South Africa and Israel. Our Sales Engineer have a strong technical backgroung, entrepreneurial team spirit, can influence change, and want to leverage the many global resources available at PayU. If you join our team you will guide your team through technical presentations, attending sales meeting with some of the most important global merchants, requirement gathering, pre-sale activities and integrating new merchants websites with our platforms.

 

In order to be invited to a discussion with us you will  need to have a detailed understanding of software solutions, an understanding of the demands of online, e-commerce or fin tech market and experiences in leading teams and projects that span geographies. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support our Global Sales teams in closing deals and maintain customer relationships
  • Product presentations for customers and during events;
  • Assistance in preparing offers for tenders;
  • Lead and manage a team of five Sales Engineers located in different countries (Africa, Israel, Poland, Russia and Turkey)
  • Leading the technical part of strategic sales meetings with global merchants across EMEA and sometimes LATAM
  • Be a facilitator between Product, Engineering and Sales teams and act as a consultant for technical matters 

 

What you need:

 

  • Technical mind and good understanding of technical drawing
  • Technical background and deep understanding of a Sales process
  • Previous experience in a managerial role
  • Technical-sales experience in highly-competitive areas such as Software Services, Online, E-commerce or Fin Tech
  • Deep understanding of a Sales process
  • Basic programming skills would be highly valued during recruitment process
  • Very good oral and written communication skills (English)
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving skills
  • Quality and detail focus
  • Good time and task management
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision
