As our product evolves we are looking at new ways to increase our offering to our customers and improve even more their payment performance. We’re looking for an experienced data scientist to build and lead a data scientist team and work closely with data engineering and product teams to add new capabilities to our offering.

What you will do

  • Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain and improve our real-time decision making systems
  • Create anomaly detection models on complex datasets to improve our customer’s payment performance
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
  • Translate business problems into ML models, brainstorm to identify the best approach, and conduct hands-on research to weave together data, product thinking, and algorithms to generate maximum business value
  • Work closely with Product managers to identify and answer meaningful product questions that support decision-making
  • Research and look for improvement and innovation opportunities with business impact that exist in internal and external to continuously improve our product offering. Be a source for innovative ideas

Who you are

  • BSc in computer science or engineering field Or MSc, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist in the industry preferably in anomaly detection and predictive analysis.
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages – Python and advantage
  • Experience working on product development teams – an advantage
  • Good business sense and logical thinking. Ability to synthesize information and generalize the pattern.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear and precise manner
  • Industry experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services – an advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written English
