Anti-fraud machine learning encompasses a range of algorithmic approaches and statistical methods – such as regressions and neural networks – to separate legitimate transactions from the illegitimate to help protect against data breaches and keep both merchants and customers secure.
Non-Repudiation API authentication
At PayU, we prioritize non-repudiation in API authentication to guarantee that requests originate from the specific merchant and remain untouched during transmission. This practice is of paramount importance in maintaining the utmost security and reliability in API interactions, particularly within the payment ecosystem.
In the context of non-repudiation API authentication, we validate the authenticity of each request by employing a digital signature mechanism. This signature is generated using a unique private and public key pair created by the merchant. Here’s how it works: the merchant signs the message with their private key, and our robust system verifies the signature using the merchant’s designated public key.
This stringent authentication process ensures that every API transaction with PayU is not only secure but also tamper-proof, assuring peace of mind for both merchants and customers alike.
