Daniel Cohen was appointed PayU Global Payments’ Chief Executive Officer in 2023. He joined in 2022 as Chief Product Officer, overseeing the product strategy and execution across PayU’s growing global footprint and vertical expansion. Prior to PayU, Daniel spent a decade at RSA Security where he was Chief Product Officer for the anti-fraud division operating in the online banking and payments space. Daniel brings significant experience working with merchants and financial institutions to successfully deliver solutions that make online payment experiences easy and intuitive.

Priya Cherian has had in-depth experience across all facets of HR functions across multiple cultures and organizations (MNC, private sector, and entrepreneurial start-up). At PayU, Priya leads the Human Resource team for PayU across 18 high growth markets and her main priorities at PayU are supporting the team through the final stages of business transformation as well as co-creating and nurturing a cohesive PayU culture for the way forward.  She drives culture development, people strategies and transformation initiatives for the business. She joins PayU after working with Alibaba, where she was heading the HR for APAC and Middle East at a time when the company was on its path to strengthen its Global Operations primarily in SEA. Prior to this, Priya headed the HR organization for eKart, the logistics arm at Flipkart. She brings to the table the experience of having worked with organizations across the board which included technology giants Yahoo and Reynolds & Reynolds. She also sits in as an advisor for multiple start-ups that are trying to scale its operations.
